FALL 2011 ROLLER HOCKEY SEASON DATES

  • Assessments: September 6-8, 2011
  • Practices Begin: September 12, 2011
  • Games Begin: September 18, 2011

 

Join us for BEGINNERS ROLLER HOCKEY CLINIC

Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 5:00-6pm

This session will be designed for boys and girls ages 5-12, who are interested in the sport and want to learn basic skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, and positioning. RH equipment required. Participation is free of charge and no reservations are necessary. Clinic will be led by Steven Nelson, NUMC Roller Hockey Instructor.


Are you an experienced skater or roller hockey player?

Join us for INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED ROLLER HOCKEY CLINIC

Wednesday, Aug. 31st from 6-7pm

Come polish up your game with high speed drills; stick handling, passing, shooting and positioning. RH equipment required. Participation is free of charge and no reservations are necessary. Clinic will be led by Steven Nelson, NUMC Roller Hockey Instructor.

No registration and No fee needed
$1 skate rentals


EVALUATIONS

Evaluations for the Fall Roller Hockey league will occur after Labor Day. All players are expected to attend.

MITES (5 to 8 year olds)- Tuesday, September 6th, 5:30-6:30
SQUIRTS (9-10 year olds)- Wednesday, September 7th, 5:30-6:30
PEE WEES (11-14 year olds)- Thursday, September 8th, 5:30-6:30

Practices will begin on Monday, September 12th. Players will have practices on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Games will begin on Sunday, September 19th.

We are now accepting credit card payments. You can also pay by check or cash.

Check payments are due within 3 days after registration. Please make checks payable to Northside UMC, and mail to 2799 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. Please write Sports + Rec on the memo line in addition to the reference #. Please be sure that your check is not dated 30 days old. A $25 charge will be applied to all returned checks.

Unpaid registration for all programs will be held up to one week before class/camp begins or one week before assessments/draft, then your name will be dropped and waitlisted kids will be placed.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund less $20 processing fee. No refunds after November 1, for Winter Basketball, August 31, 2011 Spring Outdoor & Roller Hockey League, May 1, 2012 Summer Camps and 1 week prior to start of all classes. Refunds will be made by check or by credit card.
