Northside Soccer Academy

Starting in the fall of 2011, Northside Sports & Recreation will open its very own developmental soccer academy, for ages 6-12. As a member of the academy, players will train once a week (either Mondays or Fridays) for an hour and a half with players in their own age group (and of the same gender). The format is the same as many of the local soccer clubs' academies.

The sessions will each focus on developing a key technical skill (finishing, passing/receiving, defending, and dribbling) and also putting the players into small-sided (3v3 to 4v4) games to hone their skills while still getting many touches on the ball.

We are now accepting credit card payments. You can also pay by check or cash. Please make checks payable to Northside UMC, and mail to 2799 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. Balances are due within 3 days after registration for all programs. Unpaid registration for camps/classes will be held up to one week before class or camp begins, then your name will be dropped and waitlisted kids will be placed. Please be sure that your check is not dated 30 days old. A $25 charge will be applied to all returned checks.
